We are excited to announce that for the second time in three years, our project won first place as the best professionally designed residential landscape on Marco Island.

Native plants are those which lived in Florida before European settlement. When we design landscape we use the native flowers, grasses, trees, and shrubs which thrived here here on their own long before fertilizers and irrigation systems were needed.

Natives are best suited for our local environment, they provided shelter, food and pollination for our urban landscapes. We use the plants as they would have lived in your particular area, meaning they are far more adaptive and usually require less maintenance.

Here is a small sample of what we grow. See more of the plants we grow in our nursery further below.

Calusa Firebush

Calusa is a smaller cultivar of our native Firebush Hamelia petens.

A great Butterfly and Hummingbird attractor, this low maintenance shrub will thrive in sunny spots as well as light shade.

Wild Coffee

Wild coffee is a great medium size shrub for shady places in frost free South and Central Florida.

Small white flowers attract pollinators and bright red berries attract song birds. Also make a lush privacy screen in shady places.

Here at our native plant nursery we propagate and grow a large number of the plants we install in our landscape designs.

We also carry much of the bulk materials needs such as topsoil, compost, mulch, seashell and boulders at our facility.

A great landscape starts with a professionally drawn plan. Over forty years of practical art and horticulture experience go into each of our hand drawn designs.

Before and After

Plan and Results

We design unique custom landscape not just with native plants but with natural stone, pathways, drip irrigation and low voltage outdoor lighting. Native Oolite natural limestone makes great paths and retaining walls.

Landscapes can be just as striking at night as by day.

These are some of the homes we have done designs, installations, and do maintenance on.
